Canada's Physician Assistants are very happy to announce that the UofT/Michener/NOSM PA program has been given the 'Green light' by the University of Toronto Governing Council, as has the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (MOHLTC).

Although they are still awaiting final approval from the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU), the Consortium of PA Education, Physician Assistant Professional Degree Program is open for applications as of July 31st (closure August 31st), with program start date January 4 2010.

This is now the fourth University level program in Canada.
