Physician Assistants are educated in a medical model, often along side medical students, taught by physicians and other professionals in 24 to 26 month programs

Physician Assistant Education Programs follow a medical curriculum - Medical Sciences, Assessment, Population Health,Critical Thinking, Clinical Skills and Procedures.... Then 12 months of clinical rotations.

Upon Graduation PA must undertake the National Physician Assistant Certification Examination to earn the right to be Canadian Certified Physician Assistants
